Paradise.

I once saw a banner above the reception desk in an American hotel that said “The answer is yes, now what is your question?” This hotel has exactly the same attitude towards customer service, which is rare. Every single member of staff were completely dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. The decor was so nice, the rooms full of comfort, the spa small but very well designed, the massages sublime. Food was varied, interesting and delicious. The tranquility was amazing, I am a bad sleeper but managed almost 9 hours, unheard of. I am already planning my next trip back.

I felt like I had a monastic luxury retreat. It was quite, beautiful, natural beauty and indulgent.

Breakfast was fantastic--even had eggs, bacon, and fresh honeycomb. The renovated building and grounds were spectacular, luxurious, and nostalgic. I kept my window open at night and the water feature outside made for great sleeping, along with the cool night air. The staff were attentive an mostly eager to help. They apparently just opened only a year ago. I felt fortunate to be there. I would like to ahve had time to go mountain biking. Not sure if they have bikes or not. The smart TV had all of the fun apps to enjoy movies, music, etc. That helped me to just rest while it rained outside. The dinner menu had some spectacular dishes--especially the tartare. Wow.

Over time, they might be able to have a bit more staff that can guide English-speaking folks like me.

Pleasant is the work I would use to define this experience

The location, the building and the services offered create an environment of peace that is needed by most. The quality and attitude of the hosting crew are the cherry on the cake.

As many rooms I had in other hotels, it is missed a flat surface where to keep and open a cabin size luggage. The minimalism of the room, which I love, with the wardrobe replaced with a simple hanging bar, cover the clothes which can be hanged, still there are complements normally stored in drawers, not present in most hotels as well, which now stay in the case and should easily accessed anytime.

A beautifully quiet retreat back into history!

Prime location for a quiet getaway. The chapel was charming and an excellent place to pray and reflect. the fresh spring water offered throughout the property was refreshing and tasted pure and crisp.

there was no “historical” documentation. We would have LOVED reading about how the restoration was done and some more history on the monastery and any archeological insights from the location.

Amazing stay, attentive staff, wonderful gourmet food. Love it.

What a wonderful place to stay - we are coming back for sure! I'm a chef, and the restaurant of the Relais really topped my expectations. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere of the place was so relaxing and comfortable, even though the place is super fancy. Also my now fiance proposed to me out in front of the Relais, so of course the place will from now on always be special for us.

The room we stayed in was right above the kitchen, which we could hear. The noise didn't bother us though. The pillows were too high for me personally. But, you see, if this is the "worst" things to complain about, the stay was awesome.

«Ritrovare il tempo del proprio respiro»

Struttura curata, suggestiva e immersa nel verde. Un vero luogo in cui poter staccare la spina e ritrovare se stessi. Lo staff molto gentile e disponile, camera standard molto pulita e confortevole. Non abbiamo provato il ristorante, ma la colazione è varia e soddisfacente. La SPA molto piacevole. In generale, comunque, quello che ho apprezzato di più è stata la tranquillità del luogo, il silenzio attorno, la possibilità di staccare dai ritmi frenetici quotidiani. Torneremo sicuramente.

La SPA è accogliente e ben organizzata, ma essendo piuttosto piccola può risultare affollata, se le persone non rispettano i propri turni di fruizione. Si rischia di trovare confusione e non è proprio il massimo in un luogo in cui si cerca il relax. Nel nostro caso è successo solo per la prima mezz'ora di permanenza nella SPA; successivamente il numero di persone presenti si è ridotto ed è stato molto piacevole e rilassante proseguire il percorso. Il personale è attento e disponibile.
